What a blast.  Once I realized I wasn't tripping on psychedelic mushrooms, that Verant had in fact "fixed" the sound and graphics with the nifty new patch, I was ready for some Grade A WhoopAss in VeeePeee with my homies.  The battles were truly epic tonight and many of us were left with quite a natural high from it.  Then again, some of us were left with some unnatural highs as well.  And Jangos. . . well, a drunk bard is better than nothing.

Silverwing was the first on the menu.  Silverwing is a very cool looking dragon and a pretty fun and relatively easy fight.  We got some new loot (new to LoS that is) too.  Oogtuug Vahn was awarded the Executioner's Blade:

And last, but certainly not least, is Saldor the Silvermoon sporting the O-Robe Senior:

Sal was nice enough to pass on his Manna Robe to the very-deserving pasty mage Jeddite:

The dragon also dropped some nice spells: Avatar, Invert Gravity and Legacy of Thorn.

After Silverwing we took two attempts at Hoshkar.  The first one was a total joke.  We got creamed hard and fast (don't get too excited Tenaj, I'm talking about the dragon fight).  For all of you "Hoshkar Experts" out there, we tried that infamous strat that was "leaked" on the Nameless Tavern last week.  Yes, we invited 40 wizards to Veeshan's Peak.  By gosh, it just didn't work.  Who woulda guessed.  Our second attempt however was quite epic.  A signifigant part of the guild had logged.  Those of us remaining didn't want to call it a night on such a low note.  We chatted for a bit and came up with a completely new approach.  What ensued was one of the most epic fights in my EQ experience.  Even though we lost, we got the dragon down to HOSHK. . . .This might not seem like much of an accomplishment to some but until you have tried this dragon, you don't know what you're up against.  Furor, the GM of Fires of Heaven, (affectionately know to us as Fubar Planefuckerupper), was quoted as saying that Hoshkar was really the stepping stone to get over in VP.  Wow, I might be totally be misquoting but it sounds good and I don't really give a shit.  We are confident that with full troops and our new strat Hoshkar will die. 

Other news of the day. . . .Nizzarr completed the Druid Epic Weapon Quest!!! Yay Nizz! Congrats!

Also that punk-ass ancient Ruler of Kunark, Venril Sathir took another beating.
